For the first time SnT has participated in the 2nd Annual SCM Logistics World 2006 exhibition and this inaugural event was held in Suntec Exhibition & Convention Center, Singapore and was organized by Terrapinn Pte Ltd. It was by far the largest and most respectable logistic & supply chain event for the manufacturing industry.

Over 30 companies from the Asia Pacific regions have participated in this event. The entire event consisted of summits, multiple-streamed conferences and exhibition, Excellence Awards Gala Dinner and focused group masterclasses. SnT have opted the 2-day exhibition which was held from the 17th - 18th October 2006 under the Logistics & SCM Pavilion. The other two pavilions were India/China Pavilion and Material Handling & Industrial Automation Pavilion.

This year the motto is "Reshape" and it is about recognizing the shift of supply chain efficiencies and embracing the best practices not only from the western world but from Asia.

This event garnered the support of fortune 500 and Asian 500 manufacturing companies where delegates particularly across Asia Pacific were able to reach out to regional decision makers interested to engage in the latest solutions, products and services. As part of our Marketing initiatives under Corporate Branding and Promotion plans, this event was an ideal platform to create awareness and build a strong brand name for the company. SNT's SPORTS & RECREATIONAL COMMITTEE 2007 LAUNCH

The Sports and Recreational Committee have finally met on 8th December 2006 after a brief delay due to ongoing projects. Cheah KL (Finance) has been unanimously elected as the President along with Sharon Francis (Marketing), Maswati (HR) and Fadzillah (Finance) as Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer respectively. Two sub-committees were formed for Sports Div. headed by Zul (Admin) and Recreational Div. headed by Ow (IT). The newly formed Sports & Recreational Committee (SRC) had recently organized a 2-in-1 event to officially launch the team as well as to celebrate the birth of New Year 2007.

. It was held on the 5th January 2007 at our SnT Corporate HQ. Our staff and selected guest were invited to the event. The launch cum celebration began with an Opening Speech from our Group CEO, David Wong which he later gave a special announcement for Long Service Award to Beh Wei Liang (ex-Senior IT Manager) and introduced the latest recruit to SnT Senior Management team, Jeffrey Russell as our Vice President for Global Expansion with core focus in Contact Center Services. This was followed by a short and sweet speech by our COO, Aaron Lim and his team. FC Tai, our CFO also gave a few words to wish staff a promising new year ahead. Our HR manager, Zoe Wong announced the new recruits as well as promotion list. SRC's President, Cheah KL concluded the chain of speeches for the event. He gave insights of what events to come in 2007 and introduced the entire team. SRC had improvised the opening ceremony by having our CEO kicked a mini soccer ball into a goalie. He took a handsome four trials before he got his kick on target! Staff and guest were then treated with buffet style dinner. Our HR Department relentlessly helped with the catering and provided assistance to the other coordination tasks on the event day. There were several games booths where staff got to play some games and win prizes.

. . The highlight was to see our handpicked senior management team in the wiener eating contest. It was definitely a rare sight and guests were very supportive by cheering and motivating them. Despite the short time frame granted to plan and prepare for the launch and last minute unforeseen surprises, our SRC managed to smooth sail the entire program for the evening. SnT Boleh!
